Stop the Comparisons
We hear it all the time from our clients. “I want to look like _____.” We live in a world where we are constantly comparing ourselves to others. This is particularly the case when it comes to our health and how we look. Unfortunately, it’s not a very good way of setting goals or defining “why” we want accomplish them. True change comes from within and this is where the attention needs to be.
- Focus on Action, Not Results – This puts the emphasis on what you can control each day.
- Daily Perspective – What excites you? What are your proud of? What are you grateful for?
- Eliminate Comparison Triggers – Specific people, places, or things that make you feel like you’re not good enough.
- Social Media – Unfollow anyone that doesn’t bring you joy. Eliminate all negativity.
Once you refocus your mindset, it clears the path for success. You are no longer held back by the negativity created by these comparisons. This will allow you to be laser focused on what you’re trying to accomplish and “why” you’re doing it in the first place. Put the focus on you!
